Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing the potential of your gear. It lets you add bonus stats onto your item's base level value.
Each upgrade template comes with a set options that can be configured via the GUI. These options include upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading armor, weapons and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been reworked as part of the 2.0 update. item upgrades are scattered throughout Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also include an upgrade slot. If you select an item to upgrade it will show a preview of what the expected statistics will be after upgrading, along with the required component or material required. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item the button will read "Blocked."
